Centre for Social Service and Research (CSSR), is a Non-Government, Non-Profit and Voluntary Organisation founded In 1986 in Hanumantharayankottai, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. The Organisation is governed by board of member, all dedicated social workers striving to serve humanity especially the marginalized people. The administrative office is located at Hanumantharayankottai in a sprawling campus with good infrastructure facilities, 10 kms away to the South – East from Dindigul.

Legal Status
CSSR is a registered Society under Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and with the Ministry of Home Affairs, India Under Foreign Contribution and Regulation Act.
Geographical Focus
The Organization has no restriction in geographical focus. Its objective is to serve the needy communities throughout Tamilnadu. At present, Welfare and Development programs are being implemented in Reddiarhattram, Authoor and Kodaikanal Blocks of Dindigul District, Thondamuthur Block in Coimbatore District and in 9 Municipalities of Vellore Region, North Aroct.
Primary People Served
CSSR serves peoples and communities irrespective of Caste, Creed and Religion with primary focus on the development of the Children, Youth, Women, Old Aged and the Disabled.
